My research interests fall between the intersections of traditional library cataloging and emerging technologies. I am interested in how libraries can leverage metadata to create innovative and just systems to provide better access to their collections for all patrons. I write and lecture on library history, open-source solutions, metadata standards, linked data and community outreach.
